Cape Film gets picked up by PBS

The Cape Cod film has been picked up by WGBH, PBS’ flagship station in Boston! The film will be aired at various times over the next year, but the most exciting part for us is that the film was used in WGBH’s most recent Pledge Drive as featured programming. In the documentary world this is a huge coup, with such an endorsement lending enormous critical weight to our projects.

5 years after its initial release, the Cape film is still building steam as organizations and individuals embrace the timeless nature of the subject matter and are wowed by the imagery and storytelling.

Support WGBH and receive Touching the Game, The Story of the Cape Cod Baseball League as a thank you gift…

More Screenings and TV Interviews

The screening of Touching the Game, Alaska last week in Boston was a great success, attended by many friends and supporters as well as a number of Boston Red Sox including Terry Francona, Brad Mills and John Farrell. Another screening in L.A. was also a tremendous success, thanks to Bob Sharka and his organization Friends of Film. Both screenings have opened some doors for us, including possible international distribution.

The buzz is building and in fact we’ve done interviews and been featured on a number of TV stations and web publications. Check out the latest interviews with filmmakers Jim Carroll and Anthony Keel on NECN and
