Anchorage premiere set for Touching The Game, Alaska!

Touching the Game, Alaska, the newly released documentary about the Alaska Baseball League will make it’s Anchorage premiere on Thursday, August 13 at the Bear Tooth Theatre Pub in Anchorage, AK.  Tickets are $7 and go on sale August 4th.  The film starts at 8:00pm.  The Bear Tooth is a great venue for both food and independent films.  Touching the Game, Alaska premiered in Fairbanks, AK on June 19th, during the Midnight Sun Weekend, and was very well received.  Anchorage is Alaska’s largest city and supports two ABL teams, the Anchorage Glacier Pilots and the Anchorage Bucs.  Among many threads, the film details how both these rivals got their start and features several of the team’s MLB alumni.  The Mat-Su Miners of Palmer, AK and Peninsula Oilers of Kenai, AK  are not too far from Anchorage as well so we are looking to get a big crowd for this end of the season baseball celebration!
