4th of July in Anchorage

We had quite a day in Anchorage on the 4th, filming the annual double-header between the Glacier Pilots and the Bucs. The crowd was huge, and the atmosphere was electric. The Pilots unveiled two different Independence Day uniforms. The teams split the twin-bill, and the evening was capped off by the legendary “Griz” Fireworks show. Stay tuned for a video from the day, which will be posted some time in the near future. We have shot some terrific baseball in the past week in Palmer, Fairbanks, and Anchorage. We will have more posts on our recent trip soon.

I was in Anchorage for the 4th games. My mom and sister and I traveled there to watch my nephew play (#5 Bucs). You couldn’t be more right about the atmosphere, the games, the energy…and getting to know the people behind the teams a bit (we were there about a week) was truly amazing. The community embraces these young men, and their families when they come to visit! I can’t wait for the final production of your work…certainly will be on my shelf!
