Welcome to our new Touching The Game web site. With the success of our first film “Touching The Game, The Story of The Cape Cod Baseball League”, we have decided to try and produce a series of films about the world’s best amateur baseball. We are currently in production on our new film about baseball in Alaska. Stay tuned for updates in the coming months on how the film is progressing, and new video clips as well.
We also now have an expanded section on our award-winning documentary on the Cape Cod Baseball League, and will regularly provide updates on the film and the players that were featured, as well as news about and links to the league and its ever-expanding universe.

I am so excited about the production of this film. I grew up in Palmer and spent summers cheering for the Miners but now live on the Kenai Peninsula and have been a fan and host family for the Oilers. I love our summer baseball organization and am proud to be a part of it. The trailer is terrific.

We have a son there playing in Alaska this summer for the Miners, and my husband saw the crew filming while he was there. I thought the trailer was great, but would not have known about it because I found it on the Panner’s site, not the Miner’s. If you can get the trailer to every Alaska league site, and along with college sites, I think you will generate a lot of interest. We will anxiously await the release in 2008. Good Luck!
